#Night Screams 50 Movie Pack# Best Cheap Discount Sales Reviews
I paid about twenty bucks for my set new, and I am glad I bought them, having alot of the other mill creek sets, I knew there was alot of 30’s crime drama movies, of which alot of them are “pre code”, the lame obscenity codes inacted about 1934 by bible thumpers, and though I haven’t watched all the movies, there are some really interesting ones, like the 1932 “The Thirteenth Guest”, a crime mystery, and some horror flicks, like “Carnage”, etc.
You get Bloody Pit of Horror, a fairly decent transfer seen on other mill creek sets, much better here than a St Claire Vision “Horrorlicious” 13 hours+ and nine movies set I received recently. So far I haven’t found any problems with the discs, scanned through alot of them, a couple of the discs had a strange swirl look to the top of the dvd surface, but they played fine, I scanned through all those, and they are just fine.

Better than the cover art. – Patrick J. Faeser –
Most of these movies are old 1930’s/’40’s/’50’s “B” movies. If you like poverty row stuff, you’ll probably enjoy most of this box set. Otherwise, try the original 50 Horror Classics box. Also, there are three graphically violent movies from the 1970s and 1980s on the 4th disc,so watch out-they’re pretty gross.

Not as good as some other sets available from the publishers. – anonymous –
I’ve picked up several “50 movie packs” and even the “250 horror movie pack” and have been very pleased, over all. This set, however, was rather rough. The movies are all really bad in just about every way imaginable. Unless you want bad B-Movie quality softcore lameness, go elsewhere for entertainment.

50 Horror Movies of Public Domain Goodness – Charles J. Rector – Woodstock, IL United States
Night Screams is a collection of 50 horror movies that have only one thing in common: they are all public domain and as such it is possible for them to be presented in highly affordable collections. I paid .99 for my set and that comes down to about 44 cents per movie. The way that movie tickets cost nowadays, you really cannot complain about this collection.
This deal is even better when you consider that many of the movies in this collection are available as individual movie DVD’s at prices of and higher. Many of the movies in this collection are presented in better condition than they are from other DVD companies.
All in all, a great deal for the money.

#Drive-In Movie Classics 50 Movie Pack# Best Cheap Discount Sales Reviews
50 Drive-In Movie Classics is not all that different from any of the dozens of other mega-compilations out there. Horror fans may find one little extra that will make it more than worth its low purchase price, however.
Included as one of the fifty titles is an UNCUT version of the 1979 (or ‘76, depending on who you believe) slasher Savage Weekend, starring Caitlin O’Heaney, William Sanderson and Re-Animator’s David Gale (who looks so young here that he is barely recognizable). This is a major bonus, as all other copies of SW currently in release are heavily edited (missing a little violence and a LOT of nudity).
Add to that a few other more easily-found titles, such as Night Train to Terror, TNT Jackson, Moon of the Wolf, and Invasion of the Bee Girls, and 50 Drive-In Movie Classics is definitely a solid purchase for horror/exploitation fans.
Hey, if a set like this has just six or seven good titles out of fifty, it’s still worth the price that they’re asking. It all costs less than one major Hollywood DVD release, and overall provides a lot more entertainment.
Worth grabbing, without a doubt. Buyer beware, though: There are a lot of these collections on the market, with very similar names. There are at least two or three that have “Drive-In” in the name. So be very careful when buying, and make sure you’re getting the right one.

Product Overview
Time to get the popcorn and lean back the recliner for 50 drive-in classics that will take you back to a golden era of over-acting and cheesy special effects. Find the best and worst of undiscovered Drive-in cinema featuring box office legends and complete unknowns.

Simply Brilliant – SF Musician – San Francisco, CA United States
This collection showcases the art of film-making at its most sublime. These films represent a towering artistic achievement, and deal with life’s most profound and complex issues in a nuanced way that never trivializes, reduces or preaches. Isn’t this what great art is supposed to be about? These films moved me. Highly recommended.

Like a box of chocolates… – Stefan Haeger – Germany
…you never know what’s inside. While this quote was funny from Forrest gump it is unfortunately true with this set from MillCreek. Well from the basics nothing changed – take a topic and slam in as many Public domain B-movies you can find. WHile this is not the weakest package from Mill creek this is the most confusing one. We aren’t sure if it was due to copyright violations or other unknown reasons – but MillCreek at least once changed the contents of this set, so if you read like “This set contains movie XYZ” you have chances it is not on the set you get.
And if this wasn’t already bad enough at least one of these versions has all movies watermarked with their annoying logo – several times during the movie. Normally you would buy a DVD to avoid such crap. I guess it’s some odd strategy to copy-protect Public Domain movies by seriously defacing them.
Well if you can live with that you get 50 B-Movies, as usual in very varying quality, usually rather bad quality, like transferred from 30 year old VHS tapes.
If you can treat these a bit like “Mystery science theater 3000″ you will have a box full of neverending fun. If you find a few pearls among these depends on your taste. Seriously i like most of the movies, they simply taste like 70s and 80s. Unlike the 250 mystery pack which had like 245 crappy old B&W movies this one nearly completely consists of colour movies in halfway watchable quality which really surprised me. If there wasn’t the super-annoying logos in every movie i would rate this the best pack of Mill Creek, but this way it is hard to cope with so it just gets an “OK” from me. hands off if you hate the logo annoyment, dislike all B-Movies or can’t stand “not having this title that was listed” in it (Version lottery).

tried several of these multipacks – Nearabout Wednesday – around parrots a lot
and won’t buy any more of them. many of the reviewers have talked about the film and audio quality already. the films themselves are hard to sit through due to thin plots, poor acting, etc.
